Roundabout Binder Bag

The newest custom order! Love this fabric. I have had it in the opposite colorway and really can't tell you what one I like best! Please forgive the photos, we just moved and I need to get used to the lighting in my sewing room!





The fabric exterior fabric is Michael Miller Roundabout. The interior solid purple is Kona Cotton, but I forgot to check the label on the bolt for the exact name! The lining fabric a calico cotton print that I found at Hobby Lobby and I think it is a cute little extra. The only time you see it is when the binder is out, but I just figured why not!

Starburst Custom Binder Cover

I really promise the pattern for the binder cover will be coming soon! I just never realized I would have so much trouble figuring out the different sizes and taking the time to write it all out!



So in the meantime, I have been working on a couple custom covers! The most recent is made of Lizzy House fabrics. I love the purple pearl bracelet fabric. I really think I should buy a whole bolt of that fabric!



The buyer of this cover plans to use it as a organizer to keep all her wedding planning items in! Super cute idea and a very fashionable way to carry it all!

Custom Binder Bags!

I am opening the option to have custom binder bags now. I am will only be taking 2 orders to start with! Please comment below if you are interested. The first 2 people to comment will be the first ones completed!

Please supply your email in the comments so that I may contact you.

Please have an idea of the fabrics you would like or colors that you would like to use. I typically use 3 different fabrics on each binder bag. Etsy is a great place to look for fabric. There are many different shops on etsy that sell fabrics.

I will also need to know the specifics of your binder. Brand,size, and also height and width when layin open.

Custom binder bags will cost $45. Shipping will be $6.

Red and Gray Striped Binder Bag

Here we go again with the binder bags!





This one is made for a Skilcraft 2.5 inch binder. It is made with fabric purchased from Connecting Threads. The exterior has a fun red and gray striped fabric with accents of red fabric with white stars.





The velcro used to close the sides is 2 inch wide. This will help keep your files, documents, or coupons safe. These side panels go from top to bottom!





The inside front cover has 3 pockets that have velcro clousure. The inside back cover has 3 pen slots and one large pockets to slide extra documents into.





The binder bag is fully lined with white fabric and has 2 layers of interfacing added in for extra durability.

Mason Jar Pincushions!

I have a slight obsession with mason jars.....maybe not so slight. I use them for food storage, food preserving, thread storage, button storage, drinkware, and so many other things!


But today I am showcasing pincushions! I was in the need for a new pincushion, so why not make a few extras to put in the shop!



My favorite is the blue and green damask! It already sold, but I still have a bit more of this fabric if you would like one.


Of course we need a bit of Zebra in our lives!

Maroon Diamond Binder Bag

Like promised, I have been working on Binder Bags! It is very hard to find time to sew around here, but when it happens, I try to be very productive.

This binder cover is made to accomadate a 1.5 inch 3 ring binder. It was made specifically for an Avery binder. Notice!!! I do not supply the binders.


This binder bag is made of high quality cotton fabric from Connecting Threads. The exterior is a beautiful maroon diamond printed fabric. The exterior has side flaps that go around to inclose the contents of your binder.






On the inside of the cover there are 4 pockets and room for 3 pens or pencils.


The left side of the cover is 3 pockets that velcro to close. These pockets would be ideal for a small calculator, coupons for a shopping trip, or small pads of sticky notes.


The right side has one large pocket to holder papers or documents. On top of that pocket is a place for your pens and pencils.


The binder cover is completely lined and interfaced for added durability!
